Sofia 2019 team in collaboration with the team of the Sofia City Gallery and with the support of Sofia Municipality “brought out” some art works of the gallery’s collection and put them on billboards situated all over the city.

Sofia 2019 is already changing the city by offering new spaces for art, spaces which are far from the exhibition halls and which modify our perception of the city.

From classic artists of Bulgarian art like Raphael Mihaylov, Bencho Obreshkov, Nikola Petrov, Ivan Nenov, Genko Genkov, Dimitar Bouyukliev to mid-generation contemporary Bulgarian artists such as Lachezar Boyadjiev, Mirela Gemisheva, Pavdolyub Ivanov, Boyana Rossa and Oleg Mavromati and to the youngest ones like Vikenti Komitski, Bora Petkova, Kalia Kalacheva and Minko Yovchev – pieces from different ages and resulting from different approaches offer a new journey through the busy urban traffic.
